An Award-Winning BREEAM Excellent Office Building

Commissioned by VOSA, this two-storey office block achieved BREEAM Excellent status and was recognised with a British Council for Offices (BCO) award. The project combined innovative sustainability strategies with high-quality design to deliver a modern, efficient, and environmentally responsible workplace.

Craddys were appointed across all RIBA stages to provide both civil and structural engineering services. Our scope included structural design, building services integration, and civil works to support sustainable site infrastructure.

Key achievements included the incorporation of passive stack ventilation, rainwater harvesting, photovoltaic cells, and a structure designed in line with the Green Guide. High thermal mass, strategic building orientation, and carefully considered fenestration all contributed to the building’s low energy performance, environmental credentials, and award-winning design.
