We design all our projects with creativity and ingenuity. Through our considered and intelligently engineered solutions, we consistently exceed our clients’ expectations and deliver outstanding projects.

We design all our projects with creativity and ingenuity. Through our considered and intelligently engineered solutions, we consistently exceed our clients’ expectations and deliver outstanding projects.

We pride ourselves on our innovative approach to engineering. Everything we do is underpinned by our EPIC values:

Expertise

Outstanding knowledge in all sectors of structural and civil engineering.

Positivity

We take a proactive approach to all projects, collaborating to provide optimal solutions.

Integrity

Focusing on providing a transparent, honest and ethical service to our clients.

Creativity

Producing innovative designs to envision outstanding spaces.

As engineers, we are committed to environmentally responsible design. In order to reduce the amount of embodied carbon in the projects that we design, we abide by the following principles:

Lean Design

Participating in early-stage design to maximise structural efficiency, reducing material volumes. Highlight carbon implications of early design decisions.

Low Carbon Specification

Bringing embodied carbon to the forefront of our specifications, promoting low carbon and sustainable options for all materials.

Maximise Reuse

Wherever possible, promoting re-use of existing buildings and structural elements. Thinking outside the box when assessing existing structural elements.

Carbon Monitoring

Monitoring and measuring embodied carbon in the designs we deliver and assessing the carbon impact of our design decisions.

We’re devoted to staff well-being and mental health support. Our ongoing efforts focus on enhancing and improving these provisions for our valued team:

Mental Health First Aiders

We have dedicated mental health first aiders who serve as trusted points of contact for any team members facing mental health challenges or emotional distress.

Fitness Clubs

We have running and cycle clubs within our offices; annual fitness and wellbeing challenge groups and regular opportunities to play team sports. We also encourage everyone to step out for a refreshing lunchtime walk.

Wellbeing Initiatives

We run regular wellbeing and movement initiatives and aspire to create an environment where everyone's mental health and wellbeing are a top priority.

Mental Health Communication

Our regular mental health and wellbeing newsletters cover a range of topics and offer general wellbeing advice.
