This racecourse has records of races dating back to 1725; parts of the structures were built in the Edwardian era, so is a mixture of new and (strengthened) old. This project involves providing a structural risk assessment report and maintenance schedule for the stands. The report comments on the structural condition of elements and records details of testing and/or remedial works that have been conducted, whilst the schedule details and provides timescales in which elements would need increased levels of inspection and maintenance.
