Hanson’s Aggregate Yard

Craddys are pleased to see the completion of the remedial and replacement works to the external concrete slab at Hanson’s Aggregate yard in Oxford. The existing concrete slab had significantly cracked and/or completely failed under daily aggregate truck loads, which have been increasing in frequency due to HS2 demands.

Craddys undertook a survey of the yard and made recommendations for either repair or full depth reconstruction of the slab. This included the design and detailing of a new concrete haul road and associated drainage.
