Some of our Exeter team attended St Peter’s C of E Aided School’s Careers Fair last week, joining 40 other exhibitors for the second year running. Lancelot Vernon-Simpson and Matthew Williams spoke with over 1,200 students from Year 7 to Year 11, as well as parents, and it was encouraging to see such thoughtful and engaging questions about future career opportunities.
Many of the younger students were not yet aware of engineering as a career option, so it was a great opportunity to explain what we do, the types of projects we work on, and the different entry routes, skills and qualifications involved. We’re already looking forward to the next one.
