Craddys Charity Energy Challenge

It’s National Energy Week ⚡️ and as part of this, Craddys are looking to raise awareness of just how much energy we use in our daily office life, as well as raising some money towards our chosen charity Help Bristol’s Homeless 💚

To do this we’ve set ourselves the challenge of burning the equivalent of 1 days energy usage from our Bristol office. That is 123 Kwh which equates to a whopping 106,000 kcal! Luckily we have solar panels to power us the rest of the year ☀️

The Craddys team across all four offices are putting in a huge effort this weekend to contribute towards this mammoth total. We have planned walks from each of our four offices starting this afternoon. We’ve also got challenges spread across the weekend including a gruelling 90 mile bike ride from Exeter to Bristol, a 24 mile hike across three mountains in Yorkshire, and a hike up Pen-Y-Fan ⛰️

Staff are also setting personal challenges including playing in tennis tournaments, competing in triathlons and attending Take That concerts 💪🤘

We hope you will join us in wishing all participants the best of luck, and hope for some sun! 😎
