Bristol Refugee Festival Community Cup Football Tournament

Over the weekend, Craddys were proud to play a part in the organisation, sponsorship and participation of the Bristol Refugee Festival Community Cup Football tournament.

Bristol Refugee Festival is an established charity organisation who run cultural and educational events, bringing together communities from across Bristol and beyond to connect, share and celebrate. Their aim is to celebrate the contribution that refugees and asylum seekers make to the city, create a better understanding of why people seek sanctuary, help overcome misconceptions and promote successful community cohesion.

The annual football tournament, which has been running since 2011, plays an important role in this and we were delighted to support the event by providing the venue hire for the day.

Our Craddys team played brilliantly with some route one football and thoroughly enjoyed the group stages and lunch. The tournament was eventually won by Bedminster United Football Club.

A big thank you to Bristol Refugee Festival for organising, to our Christos Sibanda for being part of this and to all those who helped on the day and took part ⚽️
