The Bristol Beacon is now open for business – huge congratulations to the whole development team 🎉🥂 Craddys have spent the last 6 years helping Willmott Dixon to create this world class venue and have worked side by side with them to solve the many complications found along the way.
Craddys were originally employed in 2018 for temporary works design and checking, however, this soon expanded to include secondary steelwork and timber design, lintel scheduling, reinforcement detailing as well as continuous advice and recommendations on the existing masonry, stonework and timber structure encountered in the much-altered building.
The Beacon is a beautiful Grade II listed building, and we are proud to have played a part in its regeneration, allowing it to flourish as a renowned venue, music charity and award-winning music education hub.
