Aldi, Abergavenny

We were on site last week, checking the reinforcement for the foundations to the new extension at the existing Aldi store in Abergavenny and are extremely pleased with the progress being made.

This is a really interesting multi-stage project – Aldi have worked closely with ATS Euromaster to expand their store size and carparking facilities. A brand new ATS building has been built next door to the old one (see second photo), the old ATS building has been demolished and Aldi are now adding on a 5700 sq ft extension to the side of their building.

Craddys have been involved with the entire project, including SAB approval and highways works, the civil & structural design of the new ATS building, the demolition of the old ATS, and the design of the new Aldi extension. Working closely with Arc Bauen, Owen Associates and Kendall Kingscott Ltd, we are looking forward to seeing the building develop over the next few weeks.
