Aldi Distribution Centre Project Progress

We are thrilled to see the recent progress shots of our biggest Aldi project so far, a 1.3 million sq ft distribution centre in South Bardon, Leicestershire.

This project has seen the development of a 72-acre site former coal mining site, to provide a new facility comprising of four main interconnected warehouses with a height of up to circa 30m and associated service yard. The building includes approximately 50,000 sq ft of offices on two storeys as well as a 65,000 sq ft mezzanine. Craddys is providing civil and structural engineering services on the project, and we are very much looking forward to seeing it progress further over the coming months.

The first photo was taken in January 2022 and the second two were taken in December.
