🏉 Supporting a project close to home 🏉
A few weeks ago, members of the Craddys team travelled to Ogmore Vale in South Wales to support a fantastic community project at Ogmore Vale RFC.
The project involved transforming two portacabins into safe, fully functional changing rooms and shower facilities for the club’s senior, veterans, mini and junior teams.
We were pleased to provide structural engineering support, undertaking inspections and offering technical advice to help ensure the facilities could be safely refurbished and brought back into use.
The project holds particular significance for our Director, Huw Jones, who grew up in the local area and understands first-hand the important role that community sports clubs play in bringing people together and supporting future generations.
This charity initiative was led by Willmott Dixon, with a number of organisations contributing their expertise, labour and materials. While the changing room works are almost complete, this is not the end of our involvement. Craddys looks forward to continuing to support the project as plans progress for further external improvement works, helping to create accessible facilities the club can be proud of for years to come.
We’re proud to have played a small part in a project that will leave a lasting legacy for Ogmore Vale RFC and the local community.
👏 A huge well done to everyone involved and a big thank you to progressive for the photos 📸
